Task Management

OBJECTIVE

The Task Management option is used to define the tasks to be carried out during maintenance contracts.

 

To generate maintenance calls that match the lists of tasks by equipment, the following options must first be completed: Task Management, Define Maintenance Items, Define Equipment Codes and Contract Management.

maestro* > Service Management > Maintenance > Configuration > Task Management (Web)

 

Create a task

  1. Enter the required information:

Field

Description

Task Code

Code that identifies the task.

French Description

French description that identifies the task.

Description

English description that identifies the task.

Duration

Used to enter an approximate duration for performing the task.

NOTE: Available for information purposes only. However, this information can be printed on the work orders.

Data Type

Allows to indicate the type of data collected in maestro*MOBILE to specify whether the task has been completed or not.

Available values:

Checkbox

Allows to indicate that the task has been completed using a checkmark.

Yes/No

Allows to indicate whether the task has been completed using either Yes or No.

Text

To complete the task, the maestro*MOBILE user will have to enter a comment.

Numeric

To complete the task, the maestro*MOBILE user must enter a numerical value, i.e. a measurement.

  1. Click Save.
